1:1 Canicross Foundation Session

A personalised introduction to canicross

Want to try canicross but would prefer individual guidance to get started?

This 1.5 hour session gives you and your dog the time and support to get started with canicross.

Led by our qualified canicross coach, this 1:1 session allows you to try the kit, learn the foundations of canicross and start running together as a team.

We'll show you how to fit and use the kit correctly, help you and your dog understand how to work together using simple commands, and cover dog welfare, trail etiquette and safety. You'll then have the opportunity to practise your new skills during the session, with the coaching tailored to you and your dog.

You'll have everything you need for the session, including a suitable canicross harness for your dog, canicross belt, bungee line and running vest. You'll use the full set-up during the session, so you can experience what you'll need when you begin running with your dog on your own.

Dogs must be at least 12 months old to take part in canicross.

Our activities take place outdoors, so please come prepared for the British weather. In the event of adverse weather or unsafe conditions, we may need to cancel or postpone an activity. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer a transfer to another date or a full refund.

Please note: If you are unable to attend, your booking is non-refundable. However, with at least 7 days notice, you may transfer your place to another date, subject to availability.
